You can obtain information on building permits by contacting the Building Codes Office at 315-785-5130 or visiting the department's website by clicking HERE.

Go to the Census Bureau's website (www.census.gov).  You can contact the Department of Planning at 785-3144 for further assistance or other forms of demographic information.

No.  Local zoning and and subdivision approvals are obtained from the appropriate town or village, or the City of Watertown.  However, some zoning actions are referred by the local municipality to the County Planning Board for a recommendation.  Requests for access onto a County highway should be referred to the County Highway Department.

While the primary contact should be the local municipality, the Department of Planning has copies of most zoning laws and maps for review.
